Six Tips for Finding the Best Holiday Deals
- Become a Facebook fan. Retailers often offer special promotions, free stuff, sweepstakes entry, free shipping, or other discounts just for becoming a fan of their Facebook page. For example, Babies"R"Us is offering new Facebook fans a $5 off $25 coupon. An effortless way to save!
- Go to Google. Search for phrases such as "Toys"R"Us free shipping" or "Babies"R"Us promo codes." There are several sites that often appear in the search results, such as Retail Me Not, that aggregate all valid promo codes for select retailers.
- Sign up for e-mail lists. Some retailers will offer a discount just for registering to receive their e-mails! Others, including Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us, send exclusive coupons to their customers.
- Start tweeting. Sign up for Twitter and start following your favorite retailers. Some will run Twitter-only promotions while others will tweet their best deals and promotions. Start by checking out @toysdeals @ToysRUs, @BabiesRUs, @eToys, and @BabyUniverseCom.
- Register for rewards. Find out if your favorite store offers a free Rewards programs and sign up right away! Rewards programs can offer free gifts, exclusive coupons, or "members only" sales. Joining the Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us Rewards"R"Us program will give you access to all of the above.

I'm crying right now. Husband unexpectedly out of work as of last month, I'm disabled on fixed income and little Christmas shopping done. I'm very good at crafts-building and making things myself, and I've started to sew for my 17 yr old daughter (what I wouldn't give to have her "toy" little again) as well as, brake out the polymere clay books, sharpened the wood tools etc., to get going, I, even at just shy of 5' tall, I'm not an elf and can't make toys for the little ones-grandkids. In SHOCK, and saddened at the price for one little toy I've been looking for for my 2 yr old grandson who is also my Godson. I just happened to click and somehow arrived here and found the item available (it isn't anywhere else except at-- auctions). I just want to say that someone up above is watching over me and sent me 2 angels in the form of you both. You are blessed to help people who must purchase gifts for those we care about, EXPECIALLY THE INNOCENT LITTLE ONES, and unlike other retailers, you care enough about those hit hard by this economy by offering deals AND low prices where as other don't. Those who are listing this truck in auctions(a top seller I've read)are preying upon the fact that it's extremely difficult to find and list it STARTING AT $20 - $40 higher than it actually is in stores BEFORE shipping. As the tears blurr my vision while I try to type I just want to say THANK YOU TO BOTH OF YOU ABOVE Karen and Toys.com. I'm wishing both of you, your staff and families the Very Happiest Holidays and a safe, healthy, prosperous and Happy New Year to come. Ellen D., Cranston, RI
